Use your organizations letterhead including full address, phone and facsimile numbers. 2. Provide the name of the person making the request. 3. Fax requests to 800-260-3997 - Phone number for search status or update is 800-260-1092 4. Contact any member of our staff for status of your search requests. Search requests received without identifying the requestor will not be processed. DON'T FORGET TO SPECIFY THE TYPE OF SEARCH YOU ARE REQUESTING         REQUESTING A CRIMINAL RECORD SEARCH: 1. Criminal record search requests require the following information to ensure accuracy and to achieve the best possible turnaround time. A. Full name of the subject of the search. Include full middle name, or initial if full middle name is not available. B. Social Security Number C. Complete Date of Birth (Month, Day, and Year) D. Address of the search subject. E. The internal reference or tracking number for your client (if required) F. The State and County jurisdictions being requested for search. Average turnaround time is quoted at 48 to 72 hours on a default search of 7 years. Search requests must be received before 5:00PM, E.S.T. Tracking of your requests begins the following business day at 8:00AM. National holidays are discounted as non-business days. This allows our staff to complie a list of subjects to be searched nationwide and then transmitted to our researchers across the country before they leave for the courthouse the following day. It is vital that Requestors understand that the search requests sent today cannot be researched until the following business day at the earliest. Our network of researchers do not return to their homes and offices until after 4:00 PM each day. Most courts are open 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, - excluding holidays.           REQUESTING A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER VERIFICATION / P.A.S.S.T: 1. SSN Verifications require the same information as a Criminal search request; A. Full name of the subject of the search. Include full middle name, or initial if full middle name is not available. B. Social Security Number C. Complete Date of Birth (Month, Day, and Year) D. Address of the search subject. Previous Address Social Security Tracker – SSN & Address Verification Information retrieved from collective databases of over 20 BILLION records that are compiled from major credit bureaus, telephone company directories, magazine subscription databases, public utility databases, sales and marketing lists from every conceivable retail outlet. P.A.S.S.T. is used to verify the Social Security Number, Full name, current and previous address of the subject. It is essentially, the top half of a credit report, BUT does not contain any financial information           REQUESTING AN O.F.A.C. (Office of Foreign Asset Control) SEARCH: Homeland Security / Terrorist Watch Lists For best possible results, provide the following information on each subject & submit as "OFAC" 1. Full name of the subject of the search. Include full middle name, or initial if full middle name is not available. 2. Social Security Number 3. Complete Date of Birth (Month, Day, and Year) 4. Address of the search subject. A Database search of 45 State, Federal and International Security sources for persons of interest, known terrorist, suspected terrorists, and security risks. Submit Requests for this search as “OFAC” (without quote marks)          REQUESTING AN ACTIVE WARRANT SEARCH: For best possible results, provide the following information on each subject & submit as "NWW" 1. Full name of the subject of the search. Include full middle name, or initial if full middle name is not available. 2. Social Security Number 3. Complete Date of Birth (Month, Day, and Year) 4. Address of the search subject. A database search of active warrants issued by local, state, & federal law enforcement officials. Search returns contact information of the issuing agency only. No charge Descriptions          REQUESTING MOTOR VEHICLE REPORTS: Each individual state, territory, province or country has specific requirements for the information to be provided. Please review the MVR information available on our website Strict adherence to the FCRA, FACT ACT, GLB, and DPPA is required. No Driving Records are processed without the appropriate signed authorization form the subject of the search having bee received in this office.          REQUESTING A DATABASE SEARCH: Available as a State level (PRESEARCH STATE), or Nationwide version (PRESEARCH NATION) For best possible results, provide the following information on each subject. 1. Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 was designed specifically to prevent discrimination in hiring practices against persons’    40 years old and older. Nowhere in this text, is it flatly stated that it would be illegal or in violation of this act to request a Date Of Birth from a job applicant if specifically requested for “Identification purpose Only” THIS IS A LAWFUL PURPOSE UNDER THE ACT The request for a date of birth on a job application, or subsequent authorization to release information form signed by the applicant, does not indicate discrimination and the date request in itself is not a violation of the "Age Discrimination Act." The date of birth should be requested for a permissible purpose and has been ruled a critical identifier for criminal and driving history information. Certain states and counties that do not allow public access to criminal record information, and where access to such information is limited to Law enforcement, or Court personnel only, will not conduct a criminal search without the date of birth.
